The New Year represents many things to different people. To some it may represent Hope. The Hope of moving forward into a new life. To me it represents a New Beginning. A New Beginning I have chosen to share with The Center of Weight Management and Wellness.
This is my year for a healthier me. My year to shed the weight. And with the guidance of this medically supervised weight loss program it will be done. Understanding that my success is roughly based upon 30% support of the center and 70% my own responsibility. I am ready to do the work and reveal a new me.
I am thrilled to be part of this team. It has provided me the opportunity to not only utilize my background in Plastic, Reconstructive, & Cosmetic surgery but it has enabled me to use my culinary degree as well.
On a weekly basis I will be posting a recipe that will fall under the program guidelines. I have heard from some patients that during the acute weight loss phase it is easy to fall into the habit of making the same food choices day in and day out.Monotony sets in; you become bored and can’t bear the thought of having to look at another insipid breast of chicken!
I plan to change all that by offering you the opportunity to present healthful and appealing dishes with a range of flavors, textures, and appearances.
So let’s get started and remember to breathe in the blessings of each new day. Bon Appetite!!
