TO BLOG OR NOT TO BLOG.....

I created this blog as a platform for our patients. A place to have a voice. It has been proven that a key component of successful weight loss is group support. Exchanging ideas, recipes, exercise suggestions, tools to handle stressful situations, are all welcomed at this blog. What I hear day in and day out is pretty much the same thing. We all have the same concerns and the same struggles. So let’s share our knowledge with one another. We are all on this weight loss ride together. It is truly gratifying to see less and less of all of you each week.

Does anyone have anything good for breakfast? I'm already getting tired of eggs and cottage cheese.

Breakfest Idea

I have really enjoyed making a smoothie for breakfast. Here is the recipe:

Add to blender

16oz of water
1/2 cup of fat free cottage cheese (2VL)
1 packet of Nature's Splash (Low Cal drink mix- like crystal light but organic using Truvia for sweetener. You can buy it locally at Whole Foods)
1/2 cup of frozen peaches (1F)
1/2 cup of fresh blueberries (1F)

Blend on high for 1 minute

It's really delicious!!! Hope you like it=)
